Not your father’s GI Joe

How lucky can you be? Sometimes we go to work in the adult world and actually get to play with toys to create toys! Or at least the box-tops that the toys come in. Hasbro wanted to showcase their GI Joe figures in four dynamic, distinctly different geographic environments. Indigo was able to play with all the techno toys available to us, from CGI programs to photography to retouching and illustration. We cast, set up and composited four battle scenes that left us reminiscing about our own childhood playtime. Combining the imagination of our clients with our own gave us the chance to be kids again (albeit under deadline). The result is the four exciting battle scenes where any kid could picture himself saving the world. GI Joe has certainly come a long way.
